Arsenal's fixture list for the 2025/26 season has now been confirmed and as is the case every year, there are certain games fans will be looking out for.

The Gunners face a very tricky start to the campaign as they come up against three major rivals in their opening six games, including in their first game. Their run-in may also prove to be difficult with another matchup against a rival as well as three London derbies coming in April and May.

Big six matchups, a tough start and a challenging final day trip await Mikel Arteta and his side. These are the Arsenal matches to look out for in the 2025/26 Premier League season.

August

Arsenal don't have to wait for a game against a rival as they travel to face Manchester United during the season's opening matchday. It will be the first time the Gunners have started their campaign away from home since a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace to kickstart the 2022/23 term and their first against a fellow 'big six' club since they lost to Manchester City in 2018/19.

Their first home game of the season comes a week later as they welcome Leeds United to the Emirates Stadium. Arteta's side then face another difficult away day when they head to reigning champions Liverpool.

September

Things don't get any easier for the Gunners in the next month as they host Nottingham Forest and Manchester City in successive weeks. The latter could prove to be an early title clash with Arsenal and City both looking to challenge for the league once again next season.

September concludes with a trip to face Newcastle at St James' Park. That will prove to be a difficult game for the Gunners, who haven't won on Tyneside in over two years.

October

Arsenal face their first London derbies of the season in October, with every fixture coming against a capital rival. They start the month with a home matchup against West Ham before a trip to Fulham, both fixtures they failed to win last season.

Crystal Palace will then cross the capital to face the Gunners at the Emirates for the final games of the month.

November

One of the most anticipated games of every Arsenal season comes in November as they welcome Tottenham for the first north London derby of the season. The Gunners will be looking to continue their six-game unbeaten run against their main rivals.

Just a week later, Arteta will take his side to west London to play Chelsea. They have failed to win at Stamford Bridge in the past two seasons so will be looking to amend that in the month-concluding trip.

December

Another London derby starts December as Arsenal host Brentford in midweek at the Emirates before travelling to Aston Villa a few days later.

A trip to Brighton and a home tie against Villa come in the final days of the year and the Gunners will be looking to transition into 2026 with a good record intact.

January

A visit to the south coast to face Bournemouth starts the new year before Arsenal host Liverpool in another midweek matchup. This could prove to be a crucial fixture in the title race as the Gunners look to secure their first title in over 20 years while Arne Slot's side will be wanting to retain theirs.

Arteta will have to prepare his squad for a continued tough start to the calendar year when they travel to face a Nottingham Forest side that will be looking to replicate last season's European efforts before welcoming Man United to the Emirates.

February

More capital derbies come in February with trips to Brentford and Tottenham just 10 days apart at a point where the Gunners will be wanting to really ramp up their title efforts.

Arsenal then host Chelsea and will be eager to continue their recent record against the Blues. They have won their previous three home meetings with their west London counterparts.

March

There are no easy games in the Premier League, but if the Gunners want a stress-free month, March will be it.

Their toughest game is a trip to Brighton to start the month with a home tie against Everton and a visit to Wolves being matches that are winnable.

April

The toughest part of Arsenal's run-in will come at the start of it as their run of fixtures in April won't be straightforward. They begin with a visit of Bournemouth, a tie that has proven to be a potential banana skin, having lost it last season.

The Gunners then face a 'big six' rival for the final time of the season with a trip to face Man City at Etihad Stadium, where they will be looking to pick up their first victory since January 2015. The month concludes with another tricky home game, welcoming Newcastle to N5.

May

May will be another month stacked with London derbies, with three of Arsenal's four fixtures coming in the capital. Fulham will travel to the Emirates before the Gunners then hit the road to face West Ham.

Newly promoted Burnley will be Arsenal's final opponents at home during the penultimate matchweek. If the league title has not already been decided then the Gunners could have a tough task of doing so if they are in the running on the final day. They will travel to FA Cup holders Crystal Palace in the concluding match of the season.
