Arsenal's 2-0 triumph over Manchester United is often cause for a little extra celebrating, given the rivalry between the two clubs, but the Gunners aren't drinking their own bath water.

While yes, the win was great, the Gunners' attention now turns to Fulham at Craven Cottage at the weekend, a place where Arsenal was beaten 2-1 last season after Bukayo Saka opened the scoring, only for Raul Jimenez and Bobby De Cordova to score for the hosts to seal an important win.

Such is Arsenal's position in the league table, now third after Chelsea's 5-1 win over Southampton, there can be no complacency from Arteta's side.

The win over United only further enhances Arsenal's credentials as one of the teams capable of hunting down Liverpool, who are currently seven points ahead of the Gunners.

But given how poorly Arsenal played before the international break, which saw it go without a win in four consecutive league games, it is now facing an uphill battle to reel in Arne Slot's team.

Of course, their 3-3 draw with Newcastle helps, but Arsenal is in the unfortunate position where already at this stage of the season, it has to be near perfect and hope Liverpool stumbles multiple times.

Hence, the importance of taking care of business against a Fulham team that sits 12th in the table with two wins from their last five games can't be overstated.

Often, the league title isn't decided by the games against the "Big Six;" it's against teams like Fulham, who grab a point here and there.

Fulham beat you there last season, Arsenal; don't let it happen again.
