The Gunners could be set to welcome back Bukayo Saka from injury, and it couldn't have come at a better time.

Bukayo Saka is set to return for the Gunners in a highly anticipated move.

It feels like forever since we have seen Bukayo Saka running around in an Arsenal shirt, and in truth, over three months have passed since the 5-1 win over Crystal Palace in which Saka was injured.

A hamstring injury so bad that it required surgery, was a huge blow to Arsenal's title hopes, and then when we add in Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havetz's injuries in January, it was a horrorshow for the Gunners.

But now, Martinelli has been back for the last couple of weeks as he gets his feet underneath him, and now it appears that Bukayo is ready to return as well.

Prior to the 1-0 win over Chelsea, manager Mikel Arteta stated that Saka had a chance to return against Fulham at the Emirates, with the international break being key in how ready Saka could be.

Well, if his social media post, which was captioned "Hi there" with a picture of himself at the training ground, is anything to go by, Saka WILL be involved against Fulham, but in what capacity is unknown.

Declan Rice ready for Saka return

Naturally, Saka's social media post caught fire, but what also caught the attention was some of the comments, most notably from Declan Rice, who responded with "We ready" as the winger is clearly being made to feel welcomed back into the fold.

But while Saka's impending return is good for the soul, how quickly Arteta gets him back into the squad is unknown.

There are two games against Fulham and then Everton before the first leg of the Champions League quarter final against Real Madrid and if we are being truthful, the Gunners will need Saka available if they are to cause what would be a huge upset.

But that is a few weeks away, and attention will be on the Fulham clash, and if we are thinking this through, then a substitute appearance for the winger would be just the tonic to get his legs underneath him and then repeat it against Everton before going all gas, no brakes against Madrid.

Rice is excited about Saka's return, and we bet Bukayo is as well, and in truth, all Arsenal fans can't wait to see No. 7 back on the pitch and terrorizing defenses again.
