Arsenal will discover their Champions League round of 16 opponents when the draw's made on Friday, but they'll have a pretty good idea as to who they'll face come Wednesday night.
The Gunners avoided competing in the all-new play-off round by virtue of a top-eight finish in the league phase table which saw them qualify automatically for the last 16 alongside Liverpool, Barcelona, Inter, Lille, Bayer Leverkusen, Atletico Madrid, and Aston Villa.
The remaining eight spots will be filled by the winners of the play-off ties, with the second legs upcoming this week.
Unlike previous years, Arsenal do not have an array of potential round of 16 opponents. The format changes has brought about a greater sense of pre-determination, with the Gunners facing the winners of Milan/Feyenoord or PSV/Juventus.
Arsenal's most likely Champions League round of 16 opponents

Gooners should be keeping a watchful eye on Tuesday and Wednesday's second legs with Feyenoord aiming to preserve a 1-0 lead when they travel to Milan, while Juventus are 2-1 up from the first leg but are making the trip to Eindhoven.
Opta's supercomputer rates Milan's chances of winning the second leg at San Siro at 63% and their chances of qualifying for the round of 16 at 50.2%. They're ever so slightly the favourites, but a distinct improvement is required from Sergio Conceicao's side.
Opta's backing PSV to win in 90 minutes at home to Juve on Wednesday night, with Opta's AI powered simulations producing a PSV victory 43% of the time. Thiago Motta's side, however, merely need a draw to advance and the computer rates the Bianconeri's chances of making the last 16 as high as 68.1%.
The margins are fine and the ties are bound to be tight, but Milan and Juventus are projected to join Inter and Arsenal in their mini round of 16 bracket.
While neither side currently boast vintage iterations, the pair possess immense Champions League pedigree and would prove to be awkward opponents for the still relatively inexperienced Gunners hindered by several absences in attack. It's likely that Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka will still be sidelined by the time the two round of 16 legs come about next month.
We saw last year how tough a Sergio Conceicao-led team are to beat over two legs, while Juve recently secured a statement domestic victory over Inter and have one of Europe's most exciting young managers at the helm in Motta. Arsenal would be favoured no matter who they face, but I'd much prefer a tie against one of the Dutch outfits.
