If you were told a few months ago that Arsenal would be at the top of the table, but Aston Villa would only be three points behind, people probably wouldn't believe you because of how the team from Birmingham started the season.
They were winless in their first few games, and they were playing really bad football. They were not scoring goals, and it was just a really big mess.
People even wondered if they'd even stay up in the Premier League. Most presumed they would, but for a team as good as Aston Villa, that conversation should not even be happening.
Now they are on an incredible winning streak, and they are beating not just teams that are below them, but also teams like Manchester City, Chelsea, and so many others who have been really good this season.
Arsenal receive a major boost as Aston Villa miss a key star
Now this has become a top-of-the-table clash, and that's going to be really, really interesting to watch.
However, there is one thing that Arsenal fans are going to be really, really happy about, because one of Aston Villa's players, one of their best players this season, Boubacar Kamara, has been suspended for Villa's trip to Arsenal on Tuesday.
He was shown a yellow card against Chelsea, and that means he won't be able to play at the Emirates on Tuesday, which is fantastic news for Arsenal fans.
Kamara is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League. He has been amazing for the last couple of seasons, and he will sorely be missed in that really athletic, talented Aston Villa midfield.
People who are undermining the absence don't realise just how good Villa's midfield really is, and how big of an impact Kamara has on it.
Villa will sorely miss the midfielder. They will have to change some things and move some players around, and I'm sure they will still be very competitive on the night. But Arsenal do have that sort of edge now, because one of the rival's best players is not fit.
The Gunners should not be taking this game any more lightly, though, because it is still going to be a really big game.
It is still going to be really, really difficult for Arsenal to get a result against a team that usually gets a good result against them. So it will be really interesting to watch, and it could potentially define the rest of the Premier League season for both teams.
