Mikel Arteta's side must go into the second leg clash with a clear plan of attack.
Arsenal will find itself in quite the predicament in the second leg of its Champions League quarter final clash against Real Madrid.
With a three-goal lead in their back pocket, the Gunners could be caught in-between two ways of attack, and it could see their European hopes go up in flames.
One avenue is the Gunners sit back, and defend for 90 minutes, which against a Madrid side capable of scoring at will, is playing with fire. But with three goals in their pockets, that could be one avenue to go down (we hope they don't).
The other is look to kill the game off as early as possible.
If Arsenal scores first and makes it 4-0 on aggregate, then the tie is as good as over, despite the attacking talents of the hosts. But in doing that, it could leave the Gunners vulnerable going the other way.
So it's damned if you do, damned if you don't, right?
How can Arsenal approach second leg vs. Real Madrid?
So those are two ways Arsenal can approach it, and in truth, only one seems logical - go for it.
Arsenal won't want to be too aggressive in its attempt to kill the game off though, with the ideal way being a mix of stout defensively play and when chances come your way at the other end - take them.
"The mindset to win, to be brave, to be dominant, to be determined, and to have the conviction that we can be better than them, and win the game," Arteta said via arsenal.com.

So, it's all in the mind, Mikel.
The mentality that the Arsenal side takes to the pitch will be the ultimate test of how far this club has come. Gone, it appears, are the days where the Gunners wilt under the pressure of big ocassions.
Now, they relish them, and this second leg time could be seen as the biggest game in the club's recent history.
So, approaching it with a mindset of "don't lose" is a poor way to go, and based on Arteta's comments, his team is going the other way - they're going to Spain to win.
And that might be the biggest key of all - thinking you can do it. Arsenal did it last week, can it repeat that performance? We're about to find out.
