Arsenal's Martin Odegaard could learn a thing or two from Oleksandr Zinchenko's goal against PSV.
Oleksandr Zinchenko might have given Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard and manager Mikel Arteta something to think about as the Ukrainian filled in superbly well for the Norwegian against PSV.
It is no secret that Zinchenko is a smooth mover with the ball at his feet, much like Odegaard, but against PSV in a 2-2 draw, Zinchenko did something that Odegaard needs to do more often.
Shoot at goal.
Odegaard needs to find shooting boots
Zinchenko picked up the ball from Raheem Sterling in the first half against PSV and drove toward the box, and unleashed a superb curling effort to open the scoring for the Gunners.
That type of move is something that Odegaard has done often, but instead of shoot, he will lay the ball off to a teammate, and it is here where the Arsenal skipper should take a leaf out of Zinchenko's book and take a pop at goal.
We have seen him do it on occasion, but for most, not enough and there is no doubt that Martin has the quality to add more goals to his game and in truth, that is what is stoppnig him from becoming truly world class. He adds goals, and he becomes a new kind of threat, and as it turns out, Arteta wants him to shoot more often too.
"Yeah, and Martin has done it as well," Arteta said via arsenal.com. "I think Alex's finish was great. He's got the ability to do that, to carry the ball and in those spaces to put the ball in the back of the net. I'm really happy, because we have found another solution as well to fit his qualities and what the team is demanding at the moment. So it's really good to have him in that condition."

So maybe Zinchenko has given Arteta something to think about going forward and possibly Odegaard to.
We know the Norwegian has the skill to unleash strikes from outside the box and perhaps after the PSV draw, Arteta will give his skipper a license to take shots at goal more often.
Considering the lack of goal-scoring options, adding another potential option will be beneficial down the stretch because right now, the Gunners need all the help they can get.
