For some reason, there is a sense of urgency about firing Mikel Arteta from rival fans. Oh, we know why — it's because rival fans cannot wait to see Arsenal fail, and firing Mikel Arteta would secure that destiny.
Look, no Arsenal fan wants to see Mikel Arteta fired, even if he makes some questionable decisions. If there is an Arsenal fan who campaigns for it, then their love for Arsenal should be under serious question.
Arsenal has started the season impeccably. The Gunners have conceded just one goal from open play all season, and even that can be put down to William Saliba being rusty after his injury return.
Arsenal is second in the Premier League table and seventh (automatic qualification spot) in the Champions League table.
It was always anticipated that Arsenal would mess up at some point this season. That's just part and parcel of being an Arsenal fan, unfortunately.
However, they've only messed up twice so far, and the only two goals conceded were against the Premier League's two former champions - Man City and Liverpool.
In those two games, Arsenal were the more dominant team either way.
So, with just one loss on the board this season, courtesy of a late Liverpool free kick which no keeper could stop, why is there so much doom and gloom attached to Arsenal's name?
Well, we can't answer that. Teams just love to pray on Arsenal's downfall, probably. Either way, those holding high hopes for an Arsenal demise will be sorely disappointed.
Arsenal may not lose a game until the end of November
Arsenal probably won't lose another game until they face Bayern Munich in the Champions League at the end of November. Until then, they have a much easier runout, which comes a breath of fresh air after that difficult start to the season.

The Bayern match in the Champions League is enough to make any Arsenal fan lose sleep. The Bavarian team has ripped the Gunners to shreds many times in the past, to the point where facing them feels like an early goodnight.
With Harry Kane in the Bayern lineup, and playing like one of the best center forwards in the world, it spells trouble for the Gunners. Something is humbling about playing Bayern, even on your own home turf.
Predicting a loss for your team exactly two months away might seem pessimistic, but to go on a run of over two months without losing would be pretty swanky.
