Arsenal have discovered their opponents in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup as they have been dealt a trip to Championship side Southampton.
The Gunners sealed their spot in the next stage with a 2-1 win away to League One club Mansfield Town in the fifth round. Mikel Arteta's side were made to fight for the victory as the Stags pegged them back after Noni Madueke opened the scoring. Eberechi Eze was the matchwinner as he nicked the win with a stunning effort.
They have been rewarded for their triumph at Field Mill with a trip to face their old Premier League foes at St Mary's in the quarter-finals.

Arsenal will travel to Southampton, who are battling for a play-off finish in the Championship, in the quarter-finals.
The Saints managed one of the shocks of the fifth round as they won 1-0 at Fulham on Sunday afternoon. A tight game was decided by a Ross Stewart penalty in stoppage time to send the South Coast side into the last eight.
That triumph and their wins over Doncaster Rovers and Leicester City in the previous rounds have seen them earn a home tie against the Premier League leaders, which will no doubt be an incredibly tough test for the play-off hopefuls.
The Gunners are still fighting in all four competitions at this current stage and their quadruple hopes could still be alive by the time they head to St Mary's. The Carabao Cup final against Manchester City will be played two weeks prior while Arteta's side will be waiting to compete in the Champions League quarter-finals just days after, if they beat Bayer Leverkusen.
Arsenal and Southampton share history in the FA Cup, having met five times since the 1978/79 season, with the former going on to win the competition after three of those encounters.

Their last meeting in the tournament came in the fourth round of the 2020/21 campaign, with Saints winning 1-0 to end the Gunners' defence of their record 14th title. They did meet last season however, with Arteta's side winning both games, a 3-1 triumph at home before a final day 2-1 win at St Mary's.
The Spaniard will be hoping his team can replicate their last trip to SO14 when they travel on the weekend of 3rd April with a kick-off date and time set to be confirmed in due course.
