Arsenal have seen two players nominated for the men's Ballon d'Or. Declan Rice has been acknowledged for his fine campaign in which he impressed consistently in both the Premier League and Champions League. New signing Viktor Gyokeres has also been nominated for his outstanding season with Sporting.
The women's senior team have seen seven players nominated for the award. Euro 2025 winners Chloe Kelly, Alessia Russo and Leah Williamson have all earned recognition while Mariona Caldentey, Steph Catley, Emily Fox and Frida Maanum are also acknowledged.
They have also been put forward for the Women's Club of the Year after their brilliant Champions League win against Barcelona in May. That victory has also earned Renee Slegers a nomination for Women's Coach of the Year.
After winning the Premier League Golden Glove for the second consecutive season, David Raya has been nominated for the men's Yashin Trophy while Daphne Van Domeselaar has been acknowledged for the women counterpart.
Following his brilliant breakthrough season in which he impressed for both the first team and the England senior team, Myles Lewis-Skelly has been nominated for the men's Kopa Trophy. The Lionesses' Euros hero Michelle Agyemang has also earned a nomination for the women's award.
It is absolutely brilliant to see Arsenal earn so many nominations for football's top awards. The club and their players will have plenty of competition, but they could be in with a real chance of winning some individual accolades in September.
