Several Arsenal stars were recognised for their efforts throughout the 2024/25 season at last night's PFA Awards.

Members of both the Gunners' men's and women's senior teams received accolades from the Professional Footballers' Association with someone from the latter even scooping the biggest prize.

Here are those from Arsenal who came out on top in their nominated categories to be recognised among the best players in the nation.

Three players from the Gunners' men's team were included in the Team of the Year. The formidable defensive duo of Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba were recognised, a second-consecutive inclusion for the former and a third-straight for the latter.

Following a season in which he proved himself as one of the world's best midfielders, Declan Rice was also included in the team, again for the second year running.

Arsenal's women side had four representatives in the Team of the Year with Mariona Caldentey, Emily Fox, Kim Little and Alessia Russo all being named in the XI.

Caldentey was also the recipient of the biggest prize, being named the Women's Player of the Year. She pipped teammate Russo to the award to become the third Gunner to secure the accolade, after Kim Little and Vivianne Miedema.

Rice was nominated for the Men's Player of the Year, but was beaten to it by Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, who enjoyed a brilliant season as he led his side to their second Premier League title.

Olivia Smith, who moved to Arsenal from Liverpool this summer, was named the Women's Young Player of the Year and will be hoping that can spur her on to continue her form in north London throughout the coming campaign.

Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri were beaten to the Men's Young Player of the Year award by Morgan Rogers. The Hale End graduates enjoyed breakthrough seasons in the Gunners' first team last term and were primary examples of the Gunners' brilliant academy development.

Arsenal will be pleased to have seen so many players from both their men and women's sides recognised for their outstanding efforts over the course of last season and will be hoping that can resume this year.
