There is a big carrot dangling in front of this Arsenal group against PSG.
Mikel Arteta's Arsenal side are 90 minutes or so away from potentially having a shot at club history in the Champions League.
Facing PSG in the second leg, a 1-0 loss must be overturned for the Gunners to make it to the final for just the second time in the club's history and give Arteta's side the chance to win the club's first-ever Champions League crown.

Having not been to the final since 2006, in which they lost to Barcelona, the Gunners are so close to vanquishing those demons but must get past a PSG side capable of putting goals in the back of the net for fun.
Arsenal's slow start was enough for PSG to claim victory in the first leg with an Ousmane Dembele goal inside five minutes enough to decide the game.
That can't happen again, and the Gunners must be all gas, no brakes as Arteta's side looks to be back on level terms as soon as possible.
Arsenal so close to history

If the Gunners were able to slay the French side on their own turf, it would be just the second time the club would have made the Champions League final.
Given the Gunners have never won the competition, they are close to getting an opportunity to do that, and what it would mean for the club, players and manager to do it can't be understated.
"It has to be, in football you're going to be remembered for those moments," Arteta said via arsenal.com. "The biggest stages are when the team needs it, when the club needs it, to deliver those moments and playing with that mindset. This kind of game is, in my opinion, the right one, and that's the work that we've done in the last few hours."
With the squad up against it, it will require a herculean effort to advance to the final, but this Arsenal team has shown time and time again that it can produce the performance needed for such an occasion.
Let's see if they can do it against PSG, and give themselves a shot at history in a few week's time. Inter await at the Allianz Arena, with the Nerazzurri's triumph over Barcelona surely inspiring the Gunners.
