Arsenal take on Leeds United in their first home game of the season on Saturday afternoon and they will be looking to continue their recent good form against the West Yorkshire side.
Mikel Arteta has enjoyed seeing his side taking on the Whites, securing seven wins in eight matches since first taking the reins as Gunners boss in 2019. There was a slight bump in the road with a 0-0 draw during the 2020/21 season, but the Spaniard has tidied up his record in recent encounters.
Leeds have not picked up a victory against Arsenal since 2003 and Gooners will be hoping that continues this time round as their side look to maintain their brilliant recent record.
Here is how the Gunners have fared in their last five meetings with Leeds.
Arsenal vs Leeds results over the last 5 meetings

Arsenal 4-1 Leeds (April 2023)
Sat top of the table in the run-in of the 2022/23 season, Arsenal secured a dominant victory over Leeds at the Emirates Stadium.
Freshly back from injury, Gabriel Jesus won and converted a penalty to open the scoring in the first-half before Ben White doubled the advantage minutes after the break. The Brazilian nicked his second after some fine work by Leandro Trossard with Granit Xhaka heading in to seal the win late on.
Leeds 0-1 Arsenal (October 2022)

Just 11 games into their first title charge under Arteta, Arsenal travelled to Elland Road and came away with three points after a slender and feisty affair.
The Gunners took the lead late in the first-half when Bukayo Saka latched onto a perfect through ball from Martin Odegaard to fire in a brilliant strike from a tight angle. However, the second-half held all the drama. Following a handball by William Saliba, Patrick Bamford missed the chance to pull his side level, sending a penalty wide of the post.
There was still time for controversy to strike in the final moments though as the hosts cried out for another spot kick when a falling Gabriel Magalhaes appeared to lash out at Bamford. The Brazilian was initially sent off with the Whites awarded a second penalty, but a VAR check saw both decisions reversed, rescuing the three points for Arsenal.
Arsenal 2-1 Leeds (May 2022)

On track for a first top four finish in six years, Arsenal welcomed a Leeds side facing down the barrel of relegation.
Eddie Nketiah stole the show against his former side with a brace inside the opening 10 minutes, robbing the ball from Illan Meslier for his first and connecting with Gabriel Martinelli's square ball for his second.
Former Gunner Luke Ayling was sent off shortly after, but his side still managed to make life difficult for Arsenal in the second-half. Diego Llorente fired in from a corner to halve the deficit, but the Gunners held on for a crucial win.
Leeds 1-4 Arsenal (December 2021)

Heading into the Christmas period, Arsenal headed to Leeds in a good run of form and they showed their brilliance with a dominant victory in front of their travelling faithful.
A well-taken brace by Martinelli had the Gunners in cruise control inside half an hour before Saka added a third with a deflected effort shortly before the break.
The Whites pulled a goal back with 15 minutes to play when Raphinha emphatically converted a penalty, but Emile Smith Rowe put the cap on an outstanding display with a fourth late on.
Arsenal 2-0 Leeds (October 2021)

On route to the semi-finals of the 2021/22 Carabao Cup, Arsenal hosted Leeds having not lost a game since late August.
Summer signing Ben White was forced with an injury just 10 minutes into the second-half, prompting Calum Chambers to be brought off the bench in his place. That proved to a masterclass change as just 23 seconds after coming on, the now-Cardiff City captain headed in the opener.
Nketiah sealed the victory for the Gunners less than 15 minutes later when he latched onto a loose back pass to loop the ball over Meslier before converting into an empty net.
