Arsenal are back in Champions League action on Tuesday night when they face French club Lille. The Gunners picked up a big comeback win over Leeds United in the Premier League over the weekend, which was an important bounce-back result after their defeat before the break.
The Gunners are one for one in the Champions League this season having beaten Napoli in their opener, and they will be expecting to come out on top here, too.
But Lille have started well, currently second in Ligue 1 and only a point behind leaders AS Monaco. The French club lost their Champions League opener, coming up short against Real Betis, and they will be desperate to bounce back and to stop their league phase campaign getting away from them.
Ahead of Tuesday night's clash at the Emirates Stadium, we have rounded up all the latest injury news surrounding both sides.
Tiago Santos - Out
Santos ruptured his ACL and will be out for the whole season. It was a cruel early-season blow for the right-back.
Ethan Mbappe - Out (Suspended)
Mbappe is out until later in the month with an ankle injury. But even if he was fit, he would be suspended after picking up a red card in the Champions League opener.
Hamza Igamane - Out
Igamane is getting closer to returning from a ruptured ACL he suffered last year but he is not quite there yet.
William Saliba - Out
Saliba remains sidelined with his back injury after having a procedure on it during the summer. The last time Arteta spoke about it, which was in early September, he said: "We don’t really know the amount of weeks Wilo is going to be out because it’s about a healing process and everything is a bit different - we know we have to respect certain timings." He added on Monday: "Let's see in the next few weeks if we can start to introduce him into the team."
Christos Tzolis - Out
The winger picked up a hamstring issue during the international break and will be out until November. Arteta has said: "Tzolis has a muscle injury, and he's going to be out, I think, for a few weeks. He's not available yet."
Piero Hincapie - Doubt
Hincapie is dealing with an ankle injury and is not expected to be available here, but he has not been ruled out.
Martin Zubimendi - Doubt
Zubimendi also picked up an ankle issue and will go down as a doubt. Arteta said: "We need to assess them today and have further scans to see where they are, then we will have a timeframe on how long they are going to be out for."
