Arsenal Women are back in WSL action this weekend, taking on Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners have endured a frustrating start to the new campaign, suffering a sloppy draw at home to Crystal Palace last time out, with this result already setting them back two points on title rivals Manchester City. Renee Slegers' side cannot afford to drop more early points, although their task should be made easier by the fact that United travel to North London with something of a depleted squad.

With that said, here is all the latest injury news surrounding both sides ahead of this one.

Michelle Agyemang - Out

Michelle Agyemang has been ruled out until mid-December with a knee injury, so she certainly won't be ready in time to face the Red Devils.

Katie Reid - Out

Alongside Agyemang, Katie Reid is the other player in Slegers' squad who is currently on the way back from a lengthy injury. The Arsenal boss last commented on the two players' fitness back in May: "As it stands now, Katie will be back a little bit before Michelle - they’re different types of injuries, but it’s going really well for them, especially Katie, as she’s been out on the pitch, which is really positive. Michelle isn’t on the pitch yet. Hopefully you’ll see them at the start of next season."

Daphne Van Domselaar - Out

Daphne Van Domselaar will miss at least another month with a knee issue. Slegers said on the matter: "At the moment, it's hard to tell [how long]. October is in our minds somewhere, but we still have to look at how [she] responds. Day-by-day, there is a plan in place, but that plan has been changed several times now. October will be great, but let's see where it goes."

Elisa De Almeida - Out

The timeline for Elisa De Almeida's injury is yet to be determined, although she's not expected to be fit for the test against United. Slegers confirmed this on Thursday: "We have one more injury picked up this week, and that's Elisa de Almeida, so she won't be available."

Emma Watson - Out

Emma Watson has been ruled out of Saturday's trip to the Emirates with an unspecified injury, although she is expected back before the end of the month. United boss Eva Olid said: "Emma was already not in [the squad] last week. She will be a few weeks out."

Andrea Medina - Passed Fit

Andrea Medina has recovered from a minor setback and has been passed fit to feature in N5 on Saturday.

Layla Drury - Out

United youngster Layla Dury isn't unavailable through injury, but is currently off with Wales competing in the Under-20s World Cup.

Jaydee Riviere - Out

Jaydee Riviere has been ruled out with a fresh calf problem. Olid commented on the issue last week: "We have a new injury with Jayde. She finished the match with calf problems and is not going to be in the squad."

Celin Bizet Ildhusoy - Out

Celin Bizet Ildhusoy gave birth in June and is yet to return to the United fold.

Ellen Wangerheim - Out

Olid provided an update on Ellen Wangerheim's fitness status on Thursday, confirming that she'll be absent for the visit to Arsenal: "Last week, I think I did not specify about Ellen. She has an injury in her knee. It is not something that is going to be long, but it is true that it is going to be a few weeks that she will be out. Hopefully, she is back as soon as possible."

Fridolina Rolfo - Out

Fridolina Rolfo discovered late last week that she is pregnant and expecting a baby in March.
