The Gunners have suffered with multiple fitness issues since the international break and this looks to be continuing against Liverpool. It is unclear if Bukayo Saka, Jurrien Timber, or Riccardo Calafiori will be available to face the Reds on Sunday.

When asked about the trio's fitness, Arteta said via Football.London: "We're going to do our very best to somehow have them available. It's very very uncertain." The Spaniard elaborated on this, confirming that while Saka and Timber have had some involvement, Calafiori requires more tests. All three players were reportedly absent from training.

It could simply be another case of playing mind games by Mikel Arteta but the uncertainty could also be true. If the trio do end up being unavailable for the game, the Spaniard will have to face a huge selection headache for this clash.
