Chance missed

With Liverpool playing Manchester United, Arsenal had the chance to cut the gap at the summit to just three points with a win over Brighton, but with the draw, the gap is now five points.

But wait, there's more.

Liverpool now has two games in hand, so if Arne Slot's team wins both, the lead will balloon to a whopping 11 points, almost making catching them impossible.

Especially for an Arsenal side that has a rising injury list, it just can't get away from.
