Declan Rice (CM) - 7/10 - A decent game for the England international who looked to help out in attack by putting pressure on the Brighton defence. His deliveries were not up to the same standard he has previously set however.

Jorginho (CM) - 5.5/10 - Perhaps a surprise inclusion and was handed the captain's armband for the game. Made a rash attempted clearance in the first half and was lucky not to have been punished by Brighton. Was not up to scratch and was replaced with just under half hour to play.

Mikel Merino (CM) - 7/10 - Assisted Nwaneri for the opener with a well taken flick, his second goal contribution in as many games. Did his job well, winning some duels in the midfield and also helping his side in attack. Still room for improvement for the Spaniard though.
