Ethan Nwaneri (RW) - 7/10 - Scored the opener for Arsenal after making a good run down the right side before cutting in to beat Bart Verbruggen. Caused some trouble for the Brighton defence but his corner deliveries were not great. Booked in first half stoppage time before being withdrawn at the break.

Gabriel Jesus (ST) - 6/10 - Not the same Jesus we have seen in recent weeks. Linked up well with his teammates but didn't offer that same threat in front of goal. Spurned a good chance to make it 2-0 from a corner late in the first half.

Leandro Trossard (LW) - 6/10 - A decent performance from the Belgian but he looked to desperate to score against his former side. Wasted a few chances by shooting when he had better options on.
