Arsenal make the trip to the South Coast to take on Brighton in their final match before the international break.

The Gunners progressed to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a 4-2 victory at Ipswich Town last time out. Max Dowman starred with a superb brace while Noni Madueke and Mikel Merino also got on the scoresheet with fine finishes at Portman Road.

Brighton also enjoyed success in the cup with a brilliant turnaround to defeat Manchester United 3-2 at Old Trafford. Shea Lacey and Mason Mount had put the Red Devils two to the good after 10 minutes, but Charalampos Kostoulas, Pascal Groß and Maxim De Cuyper netted to complete the comeback.

With this being his side's final game for almost a month, Mikel Arteta will be hoping his team can manage a victory to continue their perfect start to the campaign while Fabian Hürzeler will be eager for the Seagulls to maintain their winning form.

Here's our preview of Arsenal's trip to Brighton.

Brighton team news

Ferdi Kadioglu will likely return to the lineup with Jaouen Hadjam poised to be unavailable for selection after picking up a knock in the win at Old Trafford. Georginio Rutter may be in line for a return after coming back into the squad in midweek.

Femi Azeez, Michael Svoboda, Evan Ferguson, Zadok Yohanna, Mats Wieffer, Jack Hinshelwood, Kaoru Mitoma, Yankuba Minteh and Stefanos Tzimas will remain absent as they continue their respective recoveries from injury.

Hürzeler rotated heavily in Manchester, but he is likely to return to the side that thrashed Coventry City last weekened with Maxim De Cuyper potentially taking up the left wing spot after he grabbed the winner on Wednesday.

Predicted Brighton lineup vs Arsenal: Verbruggen; Kadioglu, Dunk, Vuskovic, Boscagli; Gross, Ayari; Gomez, Yalcouye, De Cuyper; Kostoulas

Arsenal team news

Arteta also made a number of changes to his side for their Carabao Cup test, but will almost certainly revert to full strength for the trip to the Amex.

Jurrien Timber missed out on his side's win at Ipswich, but it was reported to be just a precaution and with Ben White's availability uncertain, he is likely to start at right back tomorrow. Piero Hincapié and Cristhian Mosquera remain doubts after absences in midweek with William Saliba also still out for the long-term.

Dowman was by far his side's best player on Wednesday, but he will almost certainly be demoted to the bench for this clash, with the hopes of coming on as a substitute to make his first Premier League appearance of the season.

Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Brighton: Raya; Timber, Konsa, Gabriel, Calafiori; Ødegaard, Lewis-Skelly, Rice; Saka, Havertz, Tzolis

Brighton vs Arsenal score prediction

This fixture was a tight affair last season and it has the possibility of replicating that once again as both teams look to keep up their winning form.

Naturally, Arsenal will be the heavy favourites, but as always Brighton will be prepared to cause plenty of problems with their attacking dominance that has already seen them score 13 times this season.

However, the Gunners' formidable defence may prove to be too much for the Seagulls to break down and that will allow the attacking force of Havertz, Tzolis, Saka and Ødegaard to win a slender encounter at the Amex.

Prediction: Brighton 0-1 Arsenal
