If Arsenal do go on to win the Premier League title this week, and potentially the Champions League for the first time ever the following weekend, who will this title be remembered for? Well, stars at the defensive end of the team are the ones being put forward for all the individual accolades, namely David Raya, Gabriel, William Saliba and Declan Rice. However, the contribution of Bukayo Saka should not be overlooked, as he has achieved something only bona fide club legends have before.
On Monday night, Arsenal moved to the brink of a first league title for 22 years, beating Burnley 1-0 at home. Kai Havertz's towering first half header shortly before half time the only goal of the night, but credit has to go to Saka for his astonishingly precise corner that created the winner. For all the rivals fans wondering how Arsenal score so many goals from corners, it's because Saka and Rice's deliveries are second to none.
This means Saka now has 60 Premier League goals and 58 assists to his name in his career. As noted by Statmuse, his is only the third Arsenal player to surpass 60 Premier League goals and 50 assists for the club. The other two are Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp, arguably the two greatest players in the club's entire history.
This season, Saka has only 11 goals and nine assists to his name across all competitions, which is below his usual high standards, albeit he has sat out 11 matches due to various injury issues. Nevertheless, he now ranks very highly among all-time Arsenal greats.

In Arsenal's Premier League history, only four players have racked up more goal involvements than Saka. Monday's assist took him on ahead of the assist king himself Mesut Özil, now fourth in that category for the Gunners, behind only Henry, Bergkamp and Cesc Fà bregas.
In terms of all goal involvements, the 24 year old needs just five more to match Ian Wright's tally, with Robin van Persie very much in his sights next season too. Saka will do well to catch Henry when it comes to both goals and assists, albeit he has got plenty of time to do so, hoping to still be a key figure in nigh on a decade's time.
Given how consistently excellent Saka has been, ever since first becoming a regular at left-back when Mikel Arteta was first appointed, he is often taken for granted. These numbers though underline, and this should never be forgotten, he is an absolute superstar, and Arsenal would not have enjoyed as many victories throughout recent years as they have without him.
