Arsenal must now switch its attention to 18th-placed Ipswich Town in the Premier League.
Over the past two weeks, all the attention for Arsenal has been on the Champions League quarter final clash against Real Madrid.
Such was the enormity of the game, even Mikel Arteta's squad in the last league game against Brentford saw a handful of stars relegated to the bench in a game they would have otherwise played.
We spoke about the delicate mental balancing act the Gunners had to fight against Madrid, well, now they are about to have another one.
To go from playing at the Santiago Bernabéu, one of the best stadiums in the world, against one of the best teams in the world, to then change it up and face 18th-placed Ipswich Town on the road, that is a big drop off.
But make no mistake about it, Ipswich are fighting for their Premier League lives, so this won't be no stroll in the park for the Gunners, and coming off the emotional high of beating Madrid in back-to-back games, if there was a time for Ipswich to get the Gunners, now is that time.
"Quite easy, just review the Madrid game and immediately go to Ipswich and start to do all the preparation, start to watch the games, the games we play against them and what we learn over the last few months since we've played them," Arteta said via arsenal.com on re-focusing the mind. "How can we hurt them, their qualities and start to do the preparation towards the game."

So Arteta says it is "quite easy" to shift the focus, but the Arsenal players wouldn't be human if there was a little letdown, right?
To go from Madrid to Ipswich is a big drop, and that is no disrespect to them, but the defending European champions are on a different level.
But the Gunners have to take this seriously, and we think they will, as the top four is not set with just six games to go.
Yes, Arsenal has a nice six-point buffer over fourth-placed Nottingham Forest, but a couple of poor performances could see the Gunners dragged into a fight they want no part of.
So take care of business against Ipswich and take a big step towards Champions League qualification while also keeping the positive momentum rolling.
