Arsenal needs a striker this summer, but is Victor Osimhen on their list?

Arsenal, this summer, will be turning over every rock in an attempt to solve its striker crisis that has plagued the team over the last 12 months.

Knowing last summer that a striker needed to come in, it didn't happen, and the same thing transpired in the January transfer window with the Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli injuries, but nothing happened.

Then Kai Havertz was ruled out for the year and that was it for the Gunners' Premier League title hopes.

While there is still plenty of football left for the Gunners this year with nine league games and a small contest against Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter finals, we can look ahead to the summer and see where Arsenal should look for a new striker.

Alexander Isak looms as the big target but given the money it would take for Newcastle to accept him leaving would be astronomical, plus the Magpies have just won a trophy and are in good shape to make the Champions League. So there is no need for Isak to move.

The other two big names are Viktor Gyökeres and Benjamin Sesko, both of whom have been on Arsenal's radar for the best part of 18 months.

So, there are three great options for the Gunners in their search for a new striker...but what if we add another?

Should Victor Osimhen be on Arsenal's striker list?

Remember Osimhen? The striker who scored goals for fun and that Arsenal was seriously interested in? Now playing for Galatasaray after he was loaned out by Napoli after falling out of favor, now the towering striker could be available at cost, per Football London's Matty Hewitt.

Is that a move the Gunners should be making? We argue that a phone call should at least be made by the Arsenal power brokers.

After all, it's not like Victor has gone to Turkey and not dominated, scoring 26 times in 30 appearances, a striker rate that the Gunners are absolutely dying for.

Exactly how much it would cost to lure Victor to the Emirates is unknown, but with Isak set to got a king's ransom, and Sesko and Gyokeres having other suitors, maybe it is the time the Gunners finally get a Osimhen deal over the line.
