Gabriel Martinelli gets timely confidence boost
It seems that Palace is Arsenal's "get well card" with Gabriel Martinelli getting on the scoresheet as the Brazilian was in desperate need of a goal.
Now, was there some luck to it? Absolutely, but it doesn't matter how you score, as long as you score. What's more, it wasn't just his goal that was good for the soul; Gabby's all-round game looked to be back.
His straight-line pace, willingness to drive and take on his opponents, and ability to get the ball into the box quickly made him one of the better performers on the day.
Is he back? We aren't sure, but its a good start.
