Arsenal transfer expert David Ornstein has claimed that 18-year-old Sverre Nypan would be keen to join Arsenal. Furthermore, the Gunners like him.
Arsenal are always interested in signing the best young players in the world. While some have worked out and others haven't, in recent history they have landed Jakub Kiwior, Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba at key stages of their development.
Nevertheless, Mikel Arteta is not satisfied until he signs more. Therefore, even without Edu Gaspar at the helm, the transfer priority remains clear - Locate the best young talents in the world and get them in early doors.
Luckily for Arsenal, an incredible opportunity seems to have presented itself to them.
David Ornstein says 18-year-old maestro is “very keen” on Arsenal transfer
According to an update from transfer expert David Ornstein, 18-year-old midfielder Sverre Nypan would be keen to secure a transfer to Arsenal at some stage. Furthermore, Ornstein believes Arsenal like Nypan.
In his own words (via The Athletic FC Podcast), Ornstein said: “There are young players that will be on their agenda now. I know I reported recently like Nypan from Rosenberg, one of the top young midfielders from what I’ve heard across the game, he’d be very keen on a move to Arsenal. They like him.”
Nypan is yet to become a fully-fledged Norway international. However, it is only a matter of time until the teenager is playing alongside Martin Odegaard on the international stage. Arsenal fans hope this partnership will continue to flourish domestically at the Emirates Stadium.
At just 18 years old, Nypan has already made his way up the Norway youth ranks. He has made a handful of appearances for the U21 side now and it's only a matter of time before he's handed his first senior international appearance. He is certainly held in high regard in his Scandinavian country.
This season, there has been a hiked interest at Arsenal with regards to their young players. While they already had a brilliant young core, injuries in the squad have allowed Hale End graduates Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly to become household names.
So, it really is no surprise to see Arsenal linked to further young talents. The future is bright, at least.
