Ethan Nwaneri has committed his future to Arsenal by signing a new long-term contract, keeping him at the club until 2030.
The Hale End graduate had been in talks since earlier this summer and there were fears he could opt against penning a new deal after reports no advancement was being made with multiple clubs were interested.. However, Nwaneri's dedication to the Gunners eventually saw an agreement reached.
Having officially put pen to paper on fresh terms, he has confirmed that he will remain an important member of this Arsenal squad for the foreseeable future.

After progressing brilliantly through the academy, Nwaneri enjoyed a breakout season with Arsenal last term, scoring nine goals and providing two assists in 37 appearances across all competitions. He impressed in the Premier League, Champions League and Carabao Cup after playing just twice for the senior side before the campaign.
He had already been rewarded for his efforts when he was given a new squad number for this season, switching from 53 to 22, and has now been given the ultimate prize by signing a five-year deal with his boyhood club.
The versatile youngster is the third first team player to sign a new contract with Arsenal this summer, following in the footsteps of Gabriel Magalhaes and fellow academy graduate Myles Lewis-Skelly.
On signing his new contract, Nwaneri said: "Signing this contract means everything to me. I see this as my first real season in men’s senior football, as part of the squad in the changing room.
"I'm so excited for what I can bring to the team, I want to help us win as much as possible and bring happiness and glory to the club. This is where I feel at home."
The Gunners managing to tie Nwaneri down to a long-term deal has once again shown how good of a job Andrea Berta has done since being appointed sporting director.
While the praise has mainly come due to his brilliant transfer business, his work inside the club has not gone amiss. He has now successfully negotiated new contracts for three important players and is continuing to work to tie the likes of Bukayo Saka and William Saliba down.
Many fans had speculated he could be shipped out on loan this season to gain more experience and further his development, but following his impressive performances throughout pre-season, that is unlikely to be the case.
Nwaneri should continue to perform brilliantly for Arsenal throughout the coming campaign and has now assured he will do so in the long-term after signing his new contract.
