Arsenal was held to a 1-1 draw with Everton at Goodison Park, with the Gunners now five points clear of Nottingham Forest in the race for the Champions League spots.

Arsenal suffered a 1-1 draw with Everton at Goodison Park with the Gunners unable to find a winner in a game that they once again, should have gone on to win.

The Myles Lewis-Skelly penalty incident is a huge talking point in the match, but make no mistake about it, Arsenal had more than enough chances to get the breakthrough and take all three points.

With Real Madrid on the horizon, the Gunners made several changes, and Leandro Trossard opened the scoring in the first half as Arsenal was good value for its lead.

But Lewis-Skelly's takedown of Jake Harrison gave the Toffees a penalty right after half time, and one that Iliman Ndiaye slotted home with conviction to bring the home side level.

Arsenal huffed and puffed, but were forced to settle for a point.
