Jorginho (DM) - 6/10 - Did a decent job at the base of midfield as he battled well with the opposition. Did lose out a few times, however. Was booked for his complaints after Everton were awarded a penalty. Replaced by Odegaard with 20 minutes remaining.

Declan Rice (CM) - 7.5/10 - Had a lot of energy as per usual, helping out in both attack and defence. Played a number of dangerous set piece deliveries into the box to cause problems for the hosts. Had a powerful free-kick attempt kept out by Pickford.

Mikel Merino (CM) - 7/10 - Back in a more natural position after a stint up top. Did a good job in midfield as he won a significant number of duels to keep the hosts at bay. Looked to help out in attack by making a few runs forward and holding up the ball.
