Former Manchester United legend and current pundit and commentator Gary Neville thinks that Arsenal will go to Manchester City and win against them the next time they play in the Premier League.

Arsenal are currently at the top of the table and even though they have shown signs of struggle and inconsistency, there is a case to be made that they are still the best team in the league right now. Even if Manchester City win their game in hand, Arsenal are still two points ahead of them for a reason.

Even though Arteta would ideally want that gap to be a bit bigger than it is currently, it is still worth noting that this team is very much the leader of the title race, and they are not going anywhere.

Arsenal have had a few hiccups and they have to recover from them as soon as possible, but that does not mean they will be pushovers in this title race, even against a team like Manchester City, who have won this competition so many times in recent years.

Neville talks about how Arsenal, in their Premier League game against Manchester City, which will be played at the Etihad Stadium, will go and win that game. He actually has a point, too.

In the last few months, Arsenal have not looked like the team that everyone thought they were at the start of the season. They were playing good football, beating big teams with ease, and had this consistency about them where they wanted to win every single game that they played.

These days, that has died down just a little bit, and Arteta needs to reignite that fire as soon as possible. Maybe this win over Tottenham Hotspur will prove to be that spark because there is nothing like beating your arch-rivals 4-1 at their own ground.

The reason why Arsenal have a shot against Manchester City is that they have been more consistent against big teams than they have against smaller teams. They have struggled against teams like Brentford and Sunderland, and even relegation-battling teams at times, but in these big moments, like the North London derby or playing Chelsea, they have usually pulled themselves together.

Even against Aston Villa, who are really good this season, Arsenal pushed them aside 4-1, and it was a sensational performance from them, probably one of their best in the last few months.

Knowing how much is on the line, Arsenal will go out against Manchester City with all guns blazing and play some of the best football of the season. They will know what is at stake. They will know how many points they have dropped in the last few weeks, and keeping all of that in mind, they will go into the game with the mindset that they have to win at all costs.

Manchester City, as Neville mentions, are not incredibly consistent themselves. They have won their last five games, but there have been blips and bumps along the way, and that might come into play later, as well.

It is also worth mentioning that these two teams play against each other in the Carabao Cup final as well. If Arsenal are able to win that, they will get over the mental block of beating Manchester City and finally lifting a major trophy, and that will play a really big part in their title run.

So it does not just depend on their game against Manchester City in the league, but it also depends on the same opposition in the Carabao Cup.

It is going to be interesting to see how Arteta and his team tackle these two games, and how much of a morale boost the Tottenham win really is.
