Arsenal face Spanish second division side Girona in the first test of their pre-season campaign on Saturday evening.
The Gunners go into the game as Premier League champions, having ended a 22-year drought to pip Manchester City to the title in May, and take on the Segunda División outfit as part of their preparations for their hopeful defence.
Having overcame MK Dons 3-0 in a behind-closed-doors friendly at London Colney thanks to goals from Reiss Nelson, Ethan Nwaneri and academy forward Ceadach O'Neill, Mikel Arteta's side will be raring to go in their first test.

Girona team news
Ex-Manchester United star Donny van de Beek could line up for Girona, having previously scored against Arsenal in a 5-1 defeat during his loan spell at Everton.
Former Tottenham winger Bryan Gil will also be eager to play a part while Morocco international Azzedine Ounahi may be involved following his nation's run to the quarter-finals of the World Cup.
Arsenal team news
With the start of the Premier League season just three weeks away, Arteta will be eager to give as many of his players a run out to get minutes in the legs, and he may also look to hand chances out to some academy stars.
Several key squad members such as Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice are still on their summer break due to their involvement in the latter stages of the World Cup, but a number of their teammates will be involved on Saturday.
Viktor Gyökeres and Max Dowman may be among those who start while Christos Tzolis looks set to make his full non-competitive debut on the left wing. As is usually the case in pre-season, Arteta will likely opt to change the team around heavily at half-time.
Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Girona: Kepa; White, Mosquera, Calafiori, Hincapié; Vieira, Nwaneri, Lewis-Skelly; Dowman, Gyökeres, Tzolis
Girona vs Arsenal score prediction
Arteta will be less worried about the outcome of his side's first pre-season test and will be more focused on providing his players minutes, but Arsenal are the heavy favourites for this clash.
Despite competing in the Champions League just two seasons ago, Girona face a season in the Spanish second division after suffering relegation so they will be unlikely to pose too much of a threat to the Gunners.
With a number of squad members given chances to impress, Arsenal should run out comfortable victors in this Catalan clash.
