Arsenal want to offload Oleksandr Zinchenko, but do they have a suitor?

It can be easy to forget how crucial and integral the Ukrainian was to Mikel Arteta's Gunners plans all those years ago, and he has been a good servant of the club, but now, he's far down the pecking order.

Jurrien Timber, Ben White, Riccardo Calafiori, and Myles Lewis-Skelly are all ahead of Zinchenko, and with the club splurging this offseason, Andreas Berta has to balance the books.

With the entire football world knowing the Gunners are willing to listen to offers for Zinchenko, thus far, there hasn't been too much movement.

Why? His contract for one. After the 2025/26 season, Zinchenko will be a free agent, so teams would likely be reluctant to pay decent money for a player they can get for free in a year's time.

But it appears that finally, the Gunners might have found a suitor who is willing to take Zinchenko off their hands this summer.

Arsenal may have Zinchenko suitor

Exactly what sort of fee the Gunners are expecting from a player who is now, at best, a rotational piece among the squad and only has one year left on his contract is unknown, but surely they would want to get a decent return from the roughly £30m fee they paid to Manchester City.

But who would be willing to try and get Zinchenko out of Arsenal?

According to Caught Offside, Porto has emerged as one of the big suitors.

"Zinchenko has previously been linked with Porto and sources familiar with the situation have now confirmed toCaughtOffside that they’re among his main suitors," the publication wrote.

So we will wait to see if things progress from here, but considering the financial outlay this summer, the Gunners reportedly need to balance the books, so some player sales could be in order overt he coming weeks.

Reiss Nelson is another name thought to be moved on, along with Zinchenko, and even Jakub Kiwior could be looking for first-team chances as well.

But right now, its as you were, with the Gunners full steam ahead with Manchester United coming into view.
