Please, November international break, go easy on the Gooners.

Arsenal have not had the best of luck this season, and much of the Gunners' misfortune has occurred away from their domain. The hamstring injury sustained by Bukayo Saka during England's 2-1 defeat to Greece in October proved to be fairly insignificant, but the knock Martin Odegaard took to the ankle in September was anything but.

The captain's lengthy absence has evolved Mikel Arteta's contenders into dreary pretenders, and we can only hope the playmaker's return facilitates a resurgence on the production front up until the new year.

Odegaard thankfully won't be representing Norway this month, while Saka and Declan Rice are out of the England squad. However, the number of Arsenal internationals in November remains in the double digits and we can only hope and pray the ten in action return to north London safe and sound.

If you fancy keeping tabs on our international representatives this month, here's how you can tune into all the action.

William Saliba - France

It was a slippy October for Saliba, who's arguably been outperformed by Ibrahima Konate this season, but the pair are set to team-up again this month as France aim to seal their place in next year's UEFA Nations League finals.

Les Blues need just a point from their final two games to advance, with two nations from each League A group qualifying for the finals. Saliba's France face Israel and Italy to round off their group campaign.

Leandro Trossard - Belgium

Domenico Tedesco hasn't been deterred by Trossard's pretty dire form in between the two breaks, with the Arsenal sharpshooter remaining a key part of the Belgian national team.

The Red Devils are unlikely to qualify for the finals having lost twice to France, and they face Group A2 leaders Italy in their first game this month before facing bottom dwellers Israel. Trossard scored in the reverse fixture against the Azzurri, but he won't be meeting club teammate Riccardo Calafiori in Brussels with the aura-laden defender dealing with a knee injury.

David Raya & Mikel Merino - Spain

Unai Simon's absence thrust David Raya into Spain's number one role last month, and he's bound to assume that position again in November. Luis de la Fuente is without a few key names for Spain's final two group games, including Lamine Yamal, but he'll be able to rely upon the Arsenal contingent with Mikel Merino joining Raya in the squad.

The European champions are assured of a place in next March's finals with clashes against Denmark and Switzerland upcoming. This break also gives Merino a chance to sweet talk former Real Sociedad teammate Martin Zubimendi amid reports of Arsenal's interest in the midfielder.

Kai Havertz - Germany

Injury saw Havertz withdraw from the Germany squad in October, but Julian Nagelsmann is a huge admirer of the do-it-all forward and he remains a big part of the manager's thinking.

Havertz will likely be competing against Tim Kleindienst and Deniz Undav - both relatively new to the international scene - for minutes this month, with Group A3 leaders Germany taking on Bosnia & Herzegovina and Hungary, whom they beat 2-0 in the group stage at Euro 2024.

Jurrien Timber - Netherlands

A muscle injury ruled Timber out of international action last month, but Arsenal's Swiss army knife defender has racked up plenty of club minutes since and has returned to the Netherlands squad this month, joining twin brother Quinten.

The Dutch are stacked at the back, so Timber's minutes may be limited as the Oranje aim to join Germany in the Nations Leauw quarter-finals. Ronald Koeman's side will be expected to claim maximum points as they face Hungary and Bosnia.

Oleksandr Zinchenko - Ukraine

After disappointing at Euro 2024, the 2024/25 Nations League has so far been a struggle for Oleksandr Zinchenko's Ukraine. They currently sit bottom of Group B2 with four points from as many games, but they are just three points adrift of leaders Czechia.

Their chances of returning to League A automatically are slim, but a pair of positive results against Georgia and Albania this month could see Zinchenko's side finish second and thus quality for the play-offs next spring.

Jakub Kiwior - Poland

Former Polish international Tomasz Hajto has been particularly scathing of this generation of Polish defenders, which, of course, includes Kiwior, describing the current crop as the worst in '30 years'.

Kiwior may well be the best of an underwhelming bunch, and they'll doubtlessly be put to the test in their penultimate Nations League group fixture as they face Portugal away from home. Poland's campaign ends against Scotland as they hunt second-place Croatia, who are three points ahead, in Group A1.

Only Switzerland (ten) and Israel (13) have conceded more goals than Poland (nine) in the Nations League thus far.

Gabriel Martinelli & Gabriel - Brazil

There are only two non-European representatives this month, with Gabriel and Gabriel Martinelli being called up to Dorival Junior's Brazil squad.

A productive October has eased the pressure on an underwhelming Selecao squad heading into their next two 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Gabriel started and finished both of Brazil's October wins, and he'll likely partner Marquinhos again as Dorival's team face Venezuela and Uruguay.

Martinelli has been on the periphery for the national team in 2024, with minutes likely to arrive off the bench.
