Martin Odegaard (CM) - 7.5/10 - Looked a bit more lively as he linked up with Saka well on the right side. Grabbed an accidental assist for Trossard's opening goal and had a couple attempts on goal kept out. Struck the post with a late effort.

Declan Rice (CM) - 8/10 - As always, all over the pitch causing problems but a bit of a quieter display against Ipswich. Made life difficult for the Palmer and the Ipswich defence with his set-piece deliveries and routines, assisting Trossard for the third. Did well to block a half-chance from Taylor in the second half. Replaced soon after the third goal.

Mikel Merino (CM) - 8.5/10 - Assisted Martinelli for the second goal with a neat Bergkamp-esque flick from the centre of the box. Then played another nice first-time pass through to Saka but his teammate couldn't finish the chance. Constantly won the ball back when his side lost it around the Ipswich area. Withdrawn before the hour mark.
