Arsenal are back in action on Tuesday night, turning their attention to the Carabao Cup and a date with Ipswich Town. The Gunners picked up another three points on Saturday night to maintain their perfect record, defeating Sunderland away from home.
That was another significant statement from Mikel Arteta's men, with the Black Cats having been very good at home over the last year. Next up is a date with Premier League new boys Ipswich at Portman Road, and the Tractor Boys are coming off a big away win over Crystal Palace, which was their second win of the Premier League season.
Ahead of Tuesday night's clash, we have rounded up the latest injury news surrounding both sides.
Jack Taylor - Out
Taylor has a knee injury that will keep him out until after the international break.
Azor Matusiwa - Doubt
Matusiwa was deemed available for the Palace game but was not in the squad, so there are question marks over his fitness ahead of this one despite seemingly returning from injury.
William Saliba - Out
Saliba is expected to be out until around November time with his back injury. Arteta said last week: "We don’t really know the amount of weeks Wilo is going to be out because it’s about a healing process and everything is a bit different - we know we have to respect certain timings. The progression has been really positive in the last few weeks, but we need to wait and see how that one reacts when we start to put some load into it." Saliba had a procedure on his back after the World Cup, and after the defender suffered through the injury in the latter stages of last season, a conscious decision is being made to make sure he is right before he returns.
Cristhian Mosquera - Doubt
Arteta said before the Sunderland game: "(Cristhian) is doing really well. Let's see if he can get [back] for this game or the next one." Mosquera did not end up returning, so logically he will remain a doubt here.
Ben White - Out
White picked up a groin injury during the Sunderland game and will almost certainly be out here. Even if the England international isn't formally out, which is unlikely anyway, there is little chance Arteta will risk him in a cup game just days after the defender suffered the scare, especially given his less than ideal injury history.
