Arsenal fell 1-0 to Liverpool at Anfield thanks to a late Dominik Szoboszlai free kick.
Arsenal's undefeated start to the Premier League season is over after a 1-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield that saw the Gunners pay the price for their missed chances.
Dominik Szoboszlai's sublime free kick was the difference as the Gunners, who lost William Saliba just five minutes in, did their best to go toe-to-toe with the champions, but the game wasn't exactly one for the record books, aesthetically speaking.
Still, Arsenal performed well enough to warrant a point at Anfield, but Szoboszlai's goal sees the Gunners leave with nothing and see the superb stretch of not losing to a top six team come to an end.
3 takeaways from Arsenal's 1-0 loss to Liverpool.
Injury bug strikes again
I'm starting to wonder if there is something in the water in North London, with Saliba going down injured five minutes into the game, to add him to an injury list that is growing by the week.
Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka and now Saliba. That isn't ideal.
On the plus side, Cristian Mosquera put in a decent shift in his Premier League debut, and at Anfield, no less, so the Gunners will be confident in his ability to step in for Saliba.
