Martin Odegaard (CM) - 6.5/10 - His creative absence continued as he didn't offer too much for his side in that aspect. Saw a thunderous strike saved by Alisson, but Merino was there to convert the rebound. Went close to winning it with a drive from range in stoppage time.

Thomas Partey (CM) - 7/10 - Often pressured high up the pitch and robbed van Dijk of the ball early on. Made some reckless challenges in midfield and was arguably lucky to not be booked. Solid performance at the base.

Mikel Merino (CM) - 6.5/10 - Continued to play an advanced role despite starting in midfield. Brought his side level with a header from close range but almost became the villain when he was sent off for a second yellow card challenge on Szoboszlai.
