He has been recognised as being the youngest player in the history of the Champions League after making his continental debut aged 15 years and 308 days. The youngster came off the bench in a 3-0 win away to Slavia Prague, breaking the previous record set by Youssoufa Moukoko.

Having found the back of the net in a 2-0 win over Everton, Dowman was also awarded for becoming the Premier League's youngest goalscorer, doing so at 16 years and 73 days old. Again doing so as a substitute, Dowman changed the course of the game with key involvement in his side's later opener before running the full length of the pitch to seal the deal late in stoppage time after Jordan Pickford opted to come up for a Toffees corner.

Dowman's strike against Everton ended up having an influence in his third record which saw him become the youngest player to win the Premier League aged 16 years and 144 days old. His influence in the win over the Toffees was key in the Gunners turning the tables in the title race and ending the season strongly to finally end their wait to win the title.

He was presented with his official certificates by Guinness World Records adjudicator Caitlin Hyem at the Sobha Realty Training Centre, an occasion that also marked his inclusion in the Class of ’27, a selection of the most exciting talents from the men’s and women’s game.

Dowman has already continued his brilliant form this season after scoring twice in Arsenal's 4-2 Carabao Cup victory at Ipswich Town in September, and he will be aiming to be more involved and break further records for the remainder of the campaign.
