Arsenal are in a very good position at the moment. They may not be winning every single game they play, but they win the ones that matter the most, as well as maintain a consistency that is hard to beat with the way their rivals are operating.

They are simply the best team in Europe right now, and not many people can argue against it. There is a lot riding on the outcome of this season, especially with the number of signings Arsenal have made in the recent past, and they are aiming to win as many titles as possible.

At the moment, they are alive in all four titles for the season. Advancing in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, while being at the top of the Champions League and Premier League tables, the Gunners are in a position they have wanted to be in for a very long time.

However, that, too, has its drawbacks sometimes.

Arsenal have obviously signed a number of reinforcements this season, across all positions. They have addressed all their areas of need, and they seem like a much more completed side than they have looked like in the past.

But, that has led to a few players not playing much. One of them is Ethan Nwaneri, who, according to Fabrizio Romano, is in talks with Marseille over a loan move this month.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was asked about whether there is any update on the Englishman's future, and he addressed the potential of him leaving the club temporarily this season.

He said: "We certainly have to assess the situation. Obviously, Ethan’s not playing the minutes that he probably deserves and needs at his age.

"So, we're going to sit down this week, address the situation, get everybody's opinion and at the end we'll make the decision that we believe is the best one for the player, because we have a massive talent there and we really need to look after it.

"We'll see. Let's first of all make the decision, the best one, and then we can see what the impact will be."

Arteta is clearer about Nwaneri's potential exit now than he was a few weeks ago. Back then, Arteta wanted the 'all hands on deck' philosophy to apply to Arsenal. He reiterated that every player is important and will get minutes where they will get a chance to impress.

Now, though, Arteta is finally admitting that a move away might be the best shout for Nwaneri, depending on the conversations they have with the player in the coming days.
