Arsenal take on Serie A side Napoli in their first clash of the 2026/27 Champions League campaign on Wednesday evening.
The Gunners overcame London rivals Chelsea in their latest outing, fighting back from a goal down to secure a 2-1 win. Morgan Rogers put the Blues in front with a well-taken volley early on, but Kai Havertz and Martin Ødegaard found the back of the net with their own moments of brilliance to seal the three points.
As his side enter another season competing in Europe's premier competition, Mikel Arteta may be tempted to stick with the same team that defeated Chelsea on Sunday with a strong sense to follow the idiom of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Goalkeeper & Defenders
David Raya (GK) - There's not even a need to explain it. He was brilliant against Chelsea and his spot between the sticks is once again secure.
Ben White (RB) - With Jurrien Timber edging closer to a return to full fitness, White will face a big fight to nail down the right back spot in the coming months, but for now, it's his and his only.
Ezri Konsa (CB) - He made the most of his first Arsenal start to win over any remaining doubters who questioned his signing and with Cristhian Mosquera an uncertainty due to injury, Konsa will certainly remain the starter in defence.
Gabriel Magalhães (CB) - Having gone four games without his usual defensive partner William Saliba, Gabriel has coped well so far and will do so again as he starts in Naples.
Riccardo Calafiori (LB) - Maybe the Gunners' most underrated player currently, Calafiori has been electric in his side's opening matches and he should start once again on Wednesday.
Midfielders
Martin Ødegaard (CM) - Enjoying a renaissance period in the number eight/10 role, captain Ødegaard will no doubt continue in midfield as he bids to extend his outstanding start to the season.
Myles Lewis-Skelly (CM) - With Bruno Guimarães knocking on the door for a chance in the starting lineup, Lewis-Skelly will continue as the first-choice at the base tomorrow, but will have to remain in top form if he is to keep his Brazilian counterpart at bay.
Declan Rice (CM) - Like his fellow midfielders, Rice has performed brilliantly in his side's first few games and as he starts once again in the Champions League, he should be able to continue that.
Forwards
Bukayo Saka (RW) - Despite not getting on the scoresheet, Saka caused plenty of problems against Chelsea and he will be eager to do that to Napoli as he starts on the right flank tomorrow night.
Kai Havertz (ST) - One of Arsenal's best players in the opening month of the season, Havertz is proving himself as Arteta's first-choice striker and his strike at the weekend is enough to see him start once again on Wednesday.
Christos Tzolis (LW) - Bouncing back from a small blip against Villa, Tzolis was excellent in the win over Chelsea and he will be eager to continue that form in his first European run-out for his new side.
