Porto remain interested in signing Jakub Kiwior from Arsenal this summer, but securing a deal won't be easy, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Gunners are said to value the Poland international as an important player and already turned down a bid from the 30-time Primeira Liga champions in July. Despite this, he wasn't involved in his side's opening day win at Manchester United and that has fuelled speculation over his future in north London.
Kiwior has always been high on Porto's list of centre back options and their persistent interest despite Arsenal's valuation of him may prompt them to make a second bid in an attempt to secure his services.

Kiwior has proven to be a useful player for Arsenal since first joining the club midway through the 2022/23 season. Despite the odd slipup, he has stepped in numerous occasions and performed to a high level, affirming his status as a solid backup option.
However, his Gunners future has been up in the air throughout this summer with many fans feeling he should be sold to accomodate another big-money purchase in the latter stages of the window.
The club's stance on him is unusual as they have previously rejected a bid from Porto and are said to value him as an important player, but his exclusion from the squad in Sunday's opening win at Old Trafford has thrown that into doubt.
Arsenal could just be looking to play hardball in order to secure a good fee for the sale of Kiwior, but they will have to make a decision before the window closes.
Outgoings have become a priority following a period of heavy spending in the early stages of the window, but with no players sold yet, there is a feeling that the Gunners have to start sanctioning departures soon.
Kiwior is a good player and a great asset to Mikel Arteta's squad, but Arsenal may just have to bite the bullet and let him leave. If they are to receive a decent offer they deem suitable from Porto or another interested club, they shouldn't hesitate to accept it.
The Gunners are reported to value him highly, but not including him in the matchday squad for the season opener for no real reason says otherwise. It would be sad to the Pole go, but here's the facts of the situation. Arsenal need to sell players and Porto are interested in Kiwior. Just sanction the sale!
