Patrick Vieira has made a bold prediction for Arsenal's future title chances if they are to win the Premier League this season.
The title-winning Gunners captain feels that if his former side secure the league title this year then they can go on to repeat the feat for the next few years.
It is certainly a bold claim from the World Cup winner, but if history is anything to go by, there is no denying Mikel Arteta's side could go onto become serial title winners once that precious first is in the bag.

Speaking on Sky Sports following Arsenal's 2-1 London derby win over Chelsea, Vieira said: "I think if they manage to win it at the end, that will be the momentum and the belief that players need to go there and win it two, three times in a row.
"In our time, it was really difficult to win two titles in a row. We won it once, we didn't, we won it the next year, because we were competing against [Manchester] United. And I think in the last couple of years, it was really difficult for Arsenal because there was Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City.
"So there was more competition maybe then a couple of years ago. But if they win it this year, that can be Arsenal winning the title for the next couple of years."
It might sound simply crazy for Vieira to suggest a young team that has no real experience of winning silverware can go onto win multiple league titles if they are successful this year, but it's happened before and it could happen again.
Before winning the inaugural Premier League, Man United hadn't won a title in over 25 years, but they won seven of the first 10 editions of the top flight. Chelsea triumphed for the first time in the 2004/05 season and won it again the following year. Man City have also shown the same type of dominance in recent campaigns.
If there's one thing the Gunners have lacked in their previous title charges, it's winning experience and barring a few champions from across Europe, that remains an issue within the current squad. However, if they can get over the line this season, Arteta will have plenty of winners at his disposal.
Of course, Arsenal's primary target is to secure the league title this season and there is likely to have been little thought put into the coming seasons, but if they are to secure the trophy come May, they will be prepared to do so on a consistent basis in the next few years.
