With the 2025/26 Premier League season getting underway tonight, it's time for us to reveal how we at Pain In The Arsenal think the coming campaign will unfold.

We all write about football because we're fans, but we also like to think we know a little bit about what we're discussing each day. That (somewhat unfortunately) prompts us to throw our season predictions out into the world, even if we're pretty confident we won't want to revisit them come the end of the campaign.

Of course, our primary focus is on Arsenal and we feel our beloved side will fare this term as Mikel Arteta looks to finally end that painful wait for the Premier League title. With several new signings now in the side, some of us are farely confident that can be done.

Whether these predictions end up being brilliantly spot on or terribly off the mark, feel free to have a little laugh at us once you've finished reading. Here's how the PITA team think the 2025/26 Premier League season will pan out.

Lennie Teague: Arsenal - Okay, I may not be starting off too well here and could just be being bias, but I think this could be the Gunners' year. They have finally answered the striker problem amid a number of other good signings and with Arteta likely to know he has to deliver this year, I feel Arsenal will charge on and win the title. However, one or two more signings could be needed.

Paul Blake: Liverpool - If they get Isak could be unstoppable again this season and I expect them to win the Premier League with a little to spare.

Adam Schultz: Arsenal - Given the players signed, particularly Gyokeres, it feels like now is the time for the Gunners. Call me naïve, but three runners-up years in a row, yeah, it's time to become the bride, not remain the bridesmaid.

James Dudko: Man City - City have killed it in the market with bargain(ish) transfers for Rayan Cherki, Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Ait-Nouri. They'll give the squad the refresh it needs, while the return of Rodri will make the difference against a Liverpool side sure to miss TAA's creativity.

Kenneth Daly: Arsenal - If you say it enough times, it might just come true. My trust has waned a bit in light of the champions’ transfer dealings (and knowledge of how strong they already were before it). However, the Gunners are almost fully equipped now – a LW still must arrive – and are primed for a successful title push.
