Ethan Nwaneri (CM) - 7/10 - Had a couple cracks at goal amid a good performance. Looked to create for his team where possible and dealt with pressure from Vale well. Also did his defensive work where needed.

Christian Nørgaard (CM) - 7/10 - A good debut at the base of midfield. Did his job and played some good passes for his teammates.

Eberechi Eze (CM) - 7.5/10 - Will be delighted to have got his first goal for the club and looked good throughout the game. Could've had a second, but was denied by a good save. Taken off in the late stages.
