Bukayo Saka (RW) - 6.5/10 - Good for him to get some more minutes under his belt. Looked to cause some problems down the right side, but the Vale defence did well to deal with him. Subbed off on the hour mark.

Mikel Merino (ST) - 6.5/10 - Didn't offer too much as the centre forward, but could have had an assist when slid Eze in on goal. Replaced by Gyökeres midway through the second half.

Gabriel Martinelli (LW) - 7/10 - Wasn't as effective as his recent performances, but still performed well. Played the ball in for Lewis-Skelly to flick onto Eze for the opener. Withdrawn with just under 10 minutes to play.
