1. Eddie Nketiah (loser)

Eddie Nketiah struggles to get into the Arsenal squad at the best of times. The Englishman who graduated from the Arsenal academy is the second choice striker behind Gabriel Jesus. However, when Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard are also considered for the position, he becomes the fourth choice. Bringing in Rodrygo would only push Nketiah down in the pecking order.

Nketiah is walking on a thin tightrope as it is. If he does not step up to the starting eleven and make a name for himself between now and the end of the season, he could be sold. Signing Rodrygo would only confirm that.
