2. Gabriel Martinelli (winner)

Gabriel Martinelli could benefit from Arsenal signing Rodrygo this summer since he would reunite with his international countryman. Both players have similar stories of playing football in Brazil before being picked up by huge European clubs, seeing their market values increase.

As versatile as Rodyrgo can be in the front-line, he is not likely to challenge Martinelli for his position. Martinelli has essentially made this position his own anyway. Sure, Leandro Trossard provides depth but he is not making a serious claim to play in this spot on a weekly basis.

Gabriel Martinelli is excellent at playing off the central striker. Therefore, if Rodrygo plays through the middle like he has done for most of this season, he would be an excellent focal point for Martinelli and the two could build a great relationship on the pitch. Bringing in Rodyrgo will emphasise the Brazilian core currently available to Arsenal.
