6. Granit Xhaka (147 appearances)
Sorry to break your heart but up next, it's Granit Xhaka.
Xhaka joined as a midfielder with plenty of promise, became the subject of fan-hate and then left as a fan-favourite. Quite the rollercoaster, right?
It was working under Mikel Arteta which was the real turning point for the Swiss international whose final appearance for Arsenal in 2023 was met with a standing ovation.
Oh, he's not doing badly at Bayer Leverkusen, either.

Nketiah has never been the first-choice striker during his time with Arsenal but if anything, that makes his appearance record even more impressive. The English striker is often used by Mikel Arteta, even if his appearances do come from the bench.
