3 Arsenal players who definitely won’t be back next season

1. Mohamed Elneny

It has been confirmed that Egyptian club legend Mohamed Elneny will leave the club, so he will not be at the Emirates Stadium next season. In a heartfelt message to supporters, Elneny thanked the North London supporters for their continued backing since he arrived from FC Basel, sending his well-wishes to the club and confirming he will leave this summer.

Upon the expiry of his Arsenal contract, this was to be expected. Mohamed Elneny is the longest serving player but unfortunately, such is the nature of the sport that all good things must come to an end.

Elneny hasn't always been a sure starter and he hasn't been without his injury concerns. However, he is a well-respected figure at Arsenal and he will missed by the fans.

Elneny made 91 Premier League appearances and scored one league goal for the Gunners.

2. Cedric Soares

Another player who will definitely leave Arsenal this summer is Portugal international Cedric Soares. The full-back who has been a good squad player for Arsenal during his time in North London will run out of contract at the same time as Mohamed Elneny.

Admittedly, neither the club nor the player has shown any commitment to lengthening the contract as it is believed to be the best scenario for all parties if Cedric leaves the club this summer.

Cedric departs the club having made 41 Premier League appearances and scoring two goals.

3. Albert Sambi Lokonga

It is surprising that Albert Sambi Lokonga won't be given a chance given his impressive loan spell with Luton Town this season. However, the loaned returnee has all but confirmed he will leave Arsenal this summer.

After sitting down with the club to discuss what the best decision for his future is, Sambi Lokonga reached the conclusion he will leave Arsenal. As per Fabrizio Romano, he said: “My time at Arsenal is slowly coming to the end, I think so”.

Sambi Lokonga made 25 Premier League appearances for Arsenal without a goal.
