3 Arsenal players who Mikel Arteta could controversially sell in summer

1. Eddie Nketiah

The first player I will put forward is Eddie Nketiah and I do it out of a place of love, rather than disappointment.

Eddie Nketiah is not quite at the level which Arsenal need and while he has proven to be a great backup option, he must be reaching the stage of his career where he wants to secure game-time elsewhere. I mean, any player with a desire to make it at the top level, which Nketiah clearly has, would be disappointed to play second fiddle at this stage of their career.

Furthermore, Arsenal are famously seeking a new striker in the summer transfer window. This should be the cherry on the cake which proves that Arteta has plans outside of Eddie Nketiah.

As a Hale End graduate, Nketiah has achieved a lot at Arsenal. He has made 116 Premier League appearances, after all.

However, the time is running out. Given Arsenal's poor experience of making pennies for their player sales, they must strike while the iron is hot, and make money from selling Nketiah while his value is still high.
