3 Arsenal players who Mikel Arteta could controversially sell in summer
By Kian Long
3. Jakub Kiwior (loan)
Almost had you there, didn't I?
Yeah, it's far too early to sell Jakub Kiwior. He was always signed as a player with the future in mind, so he will be given time to develop, and rightly so. However, I will make the call that he should be sent out on loan.
Contrary to popular belief, he is not good enough to start on a consistent basis for Arsenal. He has shown moments of brilliance but at the same time, patches of frailty. It would be beneficial, for all parties, if the Poland international is sent out on loan to truly develop as a full-back before he is introduced to the Arsenal lineup.
With Oleksandr Zinchenko, Takehiro Tomiyasu and now Jurrien Timber ahead of him in the pecking order, Kiwior would benefit from guaranteed game-time at a loan club, preferably in the Premier League. He is just one of those players who is annoyingly close to being good enough, but not quite the finished article.
